Committed to Missionary
Outreach in Alaska

When many people think of Alaska they think of towering mountains, eagles soaring overhead and glaciers calving into clear blue waters. While these are part of Alaska, many do not realize that Alaska also has a dark side that is rarely talked about.

  • The Alaska suicide rate is consistently more than twice the US average.
  • The suicide rate for Native Alaskans is four times the national average.
  • Alaska has the highest fetal alcohol syndrome rate in the nation.
  • Alaska consistently ranks #1 in the nation for sexual assault and domestic violence.

We firmly believe that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the only real way to solve these problems. Laura and I have been called to share the Good News of the Gospel with the people of Alaska.

Many villages in Alaska do not have a Bible believing church. Due to vast distances between villages, and a lack of roads, attending church in a nearby village is often not a viable option.

We have been serving as full-time missionaries in Alaska for over 20 years. We work with Native New Life, a Native led ministry that has a passion for taking the Gospel to rural Alaskan villages. In addition helping teach at Native New Life’s weekly services, David oversees all technical aspects of the ministry. He  ensures the weekly services are available online, he edits and distributes their weekly radio program to over 50 villages across Alaska and he also regularly sends DVD’s of the weekly services to almost 100 villages across Alaska. David also enjoys helping train others on how to use technology as a tool for ministry.
